Our water heater started to slowly lead (thankfully) so we called around for a couple of quotes for service. We were stunned by the quick, timely reply from Reliance to our requests. We got a new water heater within hours and the install was clean, neat and efficient. We decided to rent the new water heater because economically it makes sense as these appliances are notorious for not lasting very long.

If we ever need servicing everything will be taken care of by Reliance and that just makes good sense to us. Not even a month later our furnace heat exchanger was found to be cracked and we had 7 days to get it replaced before the provincial hydro company would turn off the furnace due to the possibility of carbon monoxide gas escaping into the house (and it was winter in Winnipeg!).

Once again we called Reliance as we had excellent service for our water heater, why not try then for our furnace? Again we were impressed by the expertise of those we spoke with and the assistance we received when making our decision. We had a high efficiency Lennox furnace installed within a couple of days and once again the installers were clean, efficient, friendly and were never bothered by ALL the questions we asked! We highly recommend Reliance Superior.

They are extremely talented and very friendly and... we had nothing to clean up afterward!

Our salesperson was very prompt in coming out to asses our needs, was very knowledgeable about the products and was honest about prices. He provided us with a number of options to choose from that would work for the size of our home. He also outlined the various payment options that were available. The technicians that installed our furnace, a/c & tankless hot water heater we able to come out the next day and were very skilled and efficient.

There were able to move the location of our a/c to a more suitable area, their workmanship was seamless and they were very neat and tidy. Our salesperson promptly visited us after the installation to ensure that everything went to our satisfaction. The products that were purchased are very good, we are especially happy with our tankless hot water heater. Being a family with 3 teenagers, we value having unlimited hot water. The furnace and a/c are quiet and keep our home at the perfect temperature.

We would definitely recommend Reliance to our friends.

It is with great pleasure I offer my thanks to the above-mentioned individuals today. Early this morning, the hot water tank in our residence became defective and caused water to enter our basement/recroom.

After a number of agencies were contacted: i.e. Sears, Furnaceman, etc, my wife suggested I contact your organization. The other organization could not tend to our requirements in a rapid fashion, mostly due to the long weekend around the corner. I contacted your business and was transferred to Sherry who assisted me over the phone with details of a new hot water tank.

Sherry took charge of the situation and had a technician attend our residence within a very short period of time. The gentlemen attended our residence within a great time frame and by the time my wife and I arrived home, the hot water tank had been installed. Terry finished the connecting of the gas, etc and tested the tank accordingly. Terry was very professional and very thorough at all times and did a fine job.

I thank your company for prompt action. I would recommend your organization to others.

Please allow me to share a summary of our recent experience with Superior/Reliance.

My husband and I were scheduled to meet with one of your company's sales/service advisers on a recent evening at 6pm. This appointment had been initiated by my husband and I in order to discuss a possible new air conditioning unit for our home.

From start to finish our experience was refreshingly surprising! As is common knowledge, service advisers from most industries rarely arrive on time, even when they provide a two or four hour window of time. With your company, we were given an actual, specific time, and the adviser arrived on schedule. This was the first of several welcome surprises!

I was pleasantly surprised to see a woman arrive. Some of your potential customers may read this and find themselves alarmed with my comment to this; I would simply respond that many companies lack a cross-population representation and I was impressed to see that your company is committed to this.

I am not someone who is typically comfortable with unknown people in our home, and yet, having Ladine in our home was like having an old friend over to catch up - Surprise #2! Ladine, thank you for your personable, energetic and pleasant demeanor.

It often seems that customer service professionals are either pleasant to deal with, or knowledgeable. Ladine was the epitome of both!! Again, another surprise! Surprise #3 for those who are keeping count :-)

It is never comfortable to interact with a high pressure salesperson, even in a commercial space, much less in one's home. Ladine however, was completely "no-pressure", and was incredibly patient while my husband and I pondered which unit to purchase. She had answers to each of our questions that balanced her professional expertise with what she had come to know of our AC unit needs. These thoughtful answers allowed us to see that she sincerely wanted us to find a unit that was a good match for our household needs, not simply the needs of a corporate bottom line. Welcome Surprise #4.

Though it is not at all related to the service or product that Ladine or Reliance/Superior offer, the unique, unexpected and spunky Ed Hardy belt that Ladine paired with the dark, heavy fabric of her work uniform was symbolic of the type of experience that we had with Ladine and
Reliance/Superior: far from ordinary... authentically Superior!

On Friday afternoon I anxiously awaited a new hot water tank. After not having had hot water for a day and a half I was very excited.

Ben arrived with a brand new gas hot water heater to install in my basement. He struggled to get it down my very narrow and very old stairway but did not have a negative reaction and remained calm. When he finally got it downstairs we got to chatting... Well, to make a long story short we determined that what I really needed was an electric hot water tank. At this point it is around 4pm on Friday night. I expected a common and albeit acceptable reaction to this: the shrug of the shoulders and, "there's nothing we can do about that now".

Instead Ben got on the phone with your warehouse and spoke to someone about getting an electric hot water tank. At this point I expected "See ya Monday" but no, again I was surprised when he told me he would go ALL THE WAY to Church in RUSH HOUR on FRIDAY and COME BACK!! I was so grateful and full out amazed by his genuine intention to help me. Never once did he complain and never did he seem negative. This shows true customer service and I have told this story to my whole family, who will defiantly be calling your company.

Now... For the real kicker, I am a real estate agent, something Ben didn't know when he went out of his way to make this perfect for me. The fact that he would treat any customer like that means that I will feel confident referring your company to each and every one of my clients.

The Home Comfort Specialists were very professional, yet personable and worked together with me to get the best possible furnace and AC system to meet my needs. "On February 22 a new furnace installed in November 2006 failed and emergency service was required as the house temperature shown on the thermostat was 3 degrees Celsius, also supplied and installed by Superior. It appeared that several consecutive brief power failures that occurred in The Maples area on February 20 had shut down the furnace and for reasons unknown it failed to start when power returned and stabilized. The furnace was off for approximately 36 hours or more I presume."

"The point of this letter however is to commend the service Technician who promptly responded to the service request and very quickly resolved the problem. Further, he monitored the equipment and tested certain components to ensure no damaged resulted. While a damaged part that was required was not immediately available from the shop he obtained this part and returned promptly on Monday morning February 23."
